Kona Conundrums

IMG 0629

I went to Kona for work for a few days. While there, I decided to send pictures to a friend to make her jealous. It back fired- in rather spectacular fashion I might add. What was turning into a glorious sunset resulted in rain (the kind of rain that makes farmers REAL happy during a drought). I thought that was the beginning. Then, on my way to the airport, I get caught in traffic. The reason I was caught in traffic was the farmers I met with did not want to stop TALKING. And really, Friday was a state holiday, there should not have been ANY traffic, but there was traffic. Then, as I was nearing the rental car return, the return was blocked for a while by one of the shuttle buses being towed in after breaking down. I was running late by this point. In my rush to get everything cleared, I apparently dropped my personal car keys into the rental car- and did not realize I had done this until I was boarding the plane. So yes, lesson learned. Or maybe not. Who knows.
