Ok so this isn’t all going to be about San Diego. I went to Riverside to visit with a friend and colleague. As always the conversation was filled with insight, laughter, and lots of learning. Then it was off to lunch. We went to Tio’s Taco’s. This place is all kinds of awesome. For one, the mexican food was incredibly good. They had some shrimp being offered up as a sample that was cooked with pablano peppers and garlic. It was so full of flavor. Now the shrimp were not as fresh as the shrimp you can get on Oahu’s North Shore but the flavors were still incredible. I ordered a two burrito plate, carna asada and pollo. It was good. By far the best Mexican food I have had. Plus, the place was so fun. It had so much, ahem, character, that it was hard not to like the place. I’ll post some other pictures in another spot!
