I arrived late in San Diego. It was a torturous trip and I wanted some good food. After checking in the hotel past midnight, the first question I asked the front desk was where I could get some good grinds. He handed me the menu for a pizza place and also said “Brian’s 24”. It was nearby and I decided to go. I thought it was a diner but it was more like a bar and grill. After looking over the menu, I found what I wanted. There was only one way to possibly start the eating in San Diego. A good helping of huevos rancheros. It’s not what I grew accustomed to in Santa Fe, but it was still good grinds. As a dear friend would say, was “tenda appetizing!”
