Sifting through the past

I've been slowly going through my old writing. A lot of my work in college and on into the early 2000's was done on a shareware program known as Z-Write. It was a great little word processor that allowed you to break things up into different sections instead of artificially working in a single document or into multiple documents. The only problem is, The Z-Write files have prevented me from upgrading to Lion. I've been going through those old files, moving them into word processors or Scrivener (a fancier equivalent of Z-Write with a more substantial price). It's been interesting, reading my old writings. I used to write a lot of essays and short stories. Now, I write blogs and novels. Quite a change. I look at some of my older writings and it strikes me as being more sophisticated, who would have thunk? Maybe I am just biased though. It did accomplish one thing, I feel more inspired to write again.
