Techno-problems

Life has been a techno-downer of late. First my MacBook Air kind of died. Kind of because it could still work as long as you didn’t want to type certain keys. I could have fixed it, but the fix would have exceeded the value of it. It lasted a good 4 years of service so I can’t complain. After days and days of angst trying to decide what to get as I had wanted a computer that could better handle my computing needs and with Thunderbolt, I finally decided to get a MacBook Pro Retina. When it finally came, I ran into major problems moving data between it and my trusty old iMac. And I lost almost everything, I have no idea how, from iCloud. Apple’s tech support was good though and hopefully they will rescue what is missing from wherever it may reside in the ether.

Of course that isn’t all that happened. I discovered this week that my iPad had a broken screen. I don’t know how I managed to do it. I didn’t drop it, but there it was a cracked screen. Fortunately I had insurance on it and was able to quickly get a replacement. Now I’m rocking a new iPad, and a new MacBook Pro which I love although I do miss the jellyfish skin i had made for my Macbook Air. I won’t go back to the jellyfish. I need to find something different. Time to pour over the photos… which I realized in all of this, that I have way too many of.
