Bar Koko has been on my agenda of places to hit for a while. I was finally able to make it— traffic is not existent and parking is not a problem any more and it’s an easy walk from the office. I order the lamb and beef shawarma. Under all that lettuce is some incredible shawarma packed with flavor. A friend of mine thinks they put too much cabbage, but I really liked it. The pita is a little thicker, but it’s nice and tasty… get some cucumber dip, add it in and kick everything up another level! I’m looking forward to sitting down here and eating and trying a few more of their dishes— meanwhile I’ll have the shawarma.
