This red-crested cardinal has been hanging out in my yard for a few weeks. I have been taking a series of photos of it but this is what I have been trying to do for a while. It will jump off the roof of the house and drop before spreading its wings and flying down. This is the first time I’ve managed to get a shot, in focus, during the drop phase!
