Going on vacation, I hauled an incredible amount of camera gear with me. Believe it or not, it was actually LESS than I wanted to bring. I can’t imagine what it would have been like if I had brought everything I wanted to.
The first real day I was there was pretty chill. There were a lot of flowers in the back yard, and bees, and paper wasps and butterflies I couldn’t quite get enough pictures of. It was fabulous.
I decided to move into the shade and take pictures and noticed something weird was going on with my focus. Turns out the chill in the shade was just enough to start fogging my lens. Once I downloaded the photos, I started playing with it and discovered the photos weren’t a wash. They looked fantastic once I started doing things like setting them up as sepias.
