I was writing a draft press release while at work today when the buzz of a helicopter interrupted me. When I looked out the window, I saw a Hughes 500 flying low above the street and between the buildings. At first I thought it was a police helicopter but then it became apparent that something else was going on. When I went out to take photos (wishing I had something more than my Canon S90), I realized the copter was lifting what appeared to be large AC chillers onto the roof of a building. It was incredible to watch. The copter would have a hard time flying low so close to the building. The wind was blowing fairly strong but there was a point during the descent where you could see the wash against the building would push it just so out of line and the pilot would have to compensate.
