After the Pacific Entomology Conference, I slept. I couldn’t get enough sleep or else I would have flown to Molokai on Friday. Instead, I flew on Saturday. After a leisurely breakfast it was off to Halawa Valley. There were a few stops, where, with all the winds and waves, I found it amazing that people were out diving. We drove down into Halawa Valley and hung out there on the beach. There was a beach dog out there hanging out too. She was a pretty dog. Out in the bay there was a whale breaching close to shore. As we waited to catch more photos, the whale just became quiet and disappeared. It was windy as hell there so we didn’t stay long, although I did catch a quick nap with the beach dog lying by my side.
Then it was back to the condo for dinner since the next day was going to be a long one
