
In January, State Senator Mike Gabbard held an informational briefing on invasive species. I presented information on my program but I focused on one individual, our exploratory entomologist, Mohsen Ramadan. Mohsen is unique- he has a driving passion for entomology, both breadth and depth of knowledge, and incredible resourcefulness. He spends three months at a time out in the field with much of that time in remote place. After the information I gave, Senator Gabbard decided to honor Mohsen with Senate recognition. ‘Oahu staff turned came along with many of the retirees who are pictured.
