On the whole, at least in terms of career, 2013 has been pretty good. I’ve managed to accomplish quite a lot and have been successful in moving the programs that I’ve been placed in charge of forward. I’ve been kind of moved up in the ranks, a position I never thought I’d pursue let along hold… and for a change all the press I’ve done, and it was considerable this year, was positive. That is until today. Today I had to do a press conference, first time ever, and I should have asked for a teleprompter.
It was OK though. Not my best press performance but so much has been going on. It sucks that the Little Fire Ant is spreading like crazy— and that, like it’s name, there are probably dozens of little fires that are burning right now and we don’t know where they are. Hopefully we can put them out, before there is a conflagration. We will see though.
What really sucks is I had to end the year with bad news.
