This little guy drew my attention because he was making quite a bit of noise… and I noticed he had something in his beak. I sent a good amount of time trying to get a photo of him that was up-close enough to figure out just what he had in beak only to fail. Bulbuls are invasive here in Hawaii. They have the potential to do a lot of economic damage and they certainly enjoy stripping my pepper tree before I have a chance to harvest!
