Adela’s has been on my dining list ever since I was waiting in line at Oleana’s by Ron Simon and the othe patrons said, “if you like here, you should go to Adele’s…” Months later, I made it over and I had the special, taro pasta with coconut creme, mushrooms and shrimp. They packaged it for later eating because I wasn’t going to eat it right away. It was a nice touch I genuinely appreciated. The portions were far larger than I anticpated and it was tastier than I anticipated. It tasted more like a cream sauce although it had hints of the coconut nut flavor. I thought it would taste more like a mild curry, maybe like some of the dishes I had in Fiji. The noodles did not have the bite I was necessarily looking for, but it had taro in it and it was tasty good. I enjoyed it! Definitely going back…
