I've never been to Ford Island, the Arizona Memorial, or the U.S.S. Missouri before. The closest I've been to any of these places is across the harbor. I'm fortunate because work gives me the opportunity to go to places and see things that the general public never gets to see. Case in point, yesterday I had to give a presentation to DOD pest control operators. I wandered around a bit and the view was great, including the rear of the Missouri. It still had the tents on deck that was used to hold a dinner in honor of the Medal of Honor recipients. This was but one of the many interesting views of the city from my vantage point.
